Festival season continues and the summer tour schedule is in full gear, with superstars huge enough to move in their own orbit and bedroom-pop tinkerers alike on the road. Among the headline names are Missy Elliott, who is on her first-ever North American tour with Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland in tow. There’s the poetically pleasing joint tour from Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett; Adele’s belated conclusion of her Vegas residency (before she moves the operation to that other locus of showbiz opulence: suburban Munich); the continuation of the Eras Tour; and more. You can also catch Adrianne Lenker, Alvvays, Mitski, Janet Jackson, St. Vincent, Thom Yorke, and dozens more—dive in below.

Adele

Adele is finally winding down her Las Vegas residency after a lengthy tenure that has, by her own admission, brought the concert-shy Tottenham superstar out of her shell. “This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have,” she said in the announcement. “It’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong! So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever!”

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour

Thom Yorke

After recently doing the rounds with the Smile, Thom Yorke is setting out on his own for a series of shows in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. If you would like to know almost nothing about what those shows will entail, look no further than his accompanying statement: “I will be alone on stage,” Yorke said, “trying a new kind of solo show thing playing versions of the songs I have written from my recent and not so recent past.”

Tomb Mold / Horrendous

Toronto’s sci-fi obsessed trio Tomb Mold and Philadelphia death metal quartet Horrendous both dropped pummeling albums in 2023—the former shared The Enduring Spirit, the latter released Ontological Mysterium—that should sound twice as loud live as they do on record. Luckily, they’re joining forces for a run of shows. Dubbed the Enraptured by Fate’s Tangled Thread Tour, it’s currently underway and lasts through the end of the month, concluding in Brooklyn on July 27. According to Horrendous, it’s been a long time coming—six years, to be exact. Ever since they played a weekend-long stint of live shows with Tomb Mold in 2018, they’ve been trying to scheme how to organize a proper tour together. At long last, it’s finally here.

Vince Staples

Back in May, Vince Staples rolled out Dark Times, his first new album since 2022’s Ramona Park Broke My Heart. Since then, the Long Beach rapper has been busy with his Netflix series The Vince Staples Show, getting that renewed for another season, and plotting a headlining tour. Taking place this fall, the Black in America Tour will bring Staples across North America with special guest Baby Rose in tow. Before that, though, Staples will play a handful of shows in Europe as well as a festival date at Chicago’s Lollapalooza in August.
